Best Invention ever!

We hiked 20 miles last weekend and this was amazing. Held my Nalgene in place without flopping around so much. I like the way it lets the bottle spin around without pulling on the lid. We will be getting more for my scouts in the troop! Hike on!

The perfect tool that I didn't know I needed

Love the cap strap and carabiner I just received. It's the perfect tool for my wide mouth Nalgene bottle that I never knew I needed until I got it. Fits perfectly, easy to install (and remove to was the bottle), and makes it so much easier to carry. Not worried at all about the plastic strap now. Definitely get one!

These work great. The carabiner gets in the way sometimes ince the top spins around so easily, but it's easy enough to hold it in place. These are super burly, and I'm much more satisfied using this to attach my Nalgene to my white water boat, my bag, etc., instead of the lid strap. I've got 2 and don't regret it.

Why wouldn't I use the plastic loop on my Nalgene?

To put simply - the plastic loop is not built for hanging your bottle. The plastic will stretch and break overtime, leading to lost bottles or a hazard in high exposure activities.

Why does the Cap Strap not fit on the 48oz or Ultralite bottles?

The Cap Strap is designed to screw onto Nalgene and similar bottles and sit under the Cap. In order for a bottle to be compatible with the Cap Strap there needs to be some space between the Cap and the lower flange of the bottle. On the 48oz and Ultralite bottles, the gap is too narrow and the Cap Strap stops the bottle from sealing.
